We have a Carter's crib and a Storkcraft crib. This conversion kit is much nicer than the Storkcraft conversion kit. The piece that attaches to the rail is a nice size, much larger than the Storkcraft and it actually keeps the child in the bed when she's sleeping (it's not just for show!) and it's very easy to install. I do think the rail could be a little bit larger still, but compared to the others I've seen, this one is still good-sized. Per the other review, it is true that this kit only converts to a toddler bed. The only pieces you get are the two pieces pictured (if in doubt, check the instructions on your Carter's Crib, which also explain this, and explain how to convert your crib to full-size).
