We bought a queen size Serta Loyalist pillowtop mattress and a boxspring.... and our old wood bedframe just wouldn't do. Shopped other places before deciding on this frame, and read the other reviews. (Thank you for the hint that instructions were on the box!) After putting the boxspring back together (no thanks to the old bedframe), we put together the new metal one. It was super easy, all parts were present, it was easy to move and best of all -- it supports our huge ol' mattress wonderfully. FINALLY -- a good night's sleep!!!
